Disneyland Pact

In November I am going to Disneyland and so I've decided that I'm going to make one Disney item a week until we get there! I've already got a bundle of ideas stored up so lets see how I do. :)

Well here we go..... For this week I've decides to make Disney Earrings out of Model Magic.

You will need:

  • Model Magic or Clay
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Old Earrings or Earring Part from Craft Store
  • Glue
  • Fabric Paint
  • Pliers
  • Imagination :)
First you will have to start out by getting your Clay or Model Magic out. You can either make it or buy it from the store. I made mine. Next mold your's into your desired Disney Character. I made a poison apple for Snow White and Mickey. With Model Magic you will have to wait over night before you start to paint, but if you have clay that you bake you can start right away. Don't forget that you will need to put the backing in before it drys.

Take your old earrings and pliers and separate the pointy backing part.  Insert it into your creation and bake or dry over night. It will also help to glue it a little so that it won't move around. I used store bought earring attachments for the poison apples and my old earrings for the mickeys.

Now for the fun part painting your pieces. I would first do acrylic and then use glitter fabric paint to make it more magical. Now wait for it to dry and then you can try them on. :)
